Muslims consider Abraham, Moses, Jesus and all the prophets of the Bible (peace be upon all of them) to be Muslims because Islam defines a “Muslim” as anyone who submits to the will of the one true God. From the Islamic perspective, God revealed the exact same message of monotheism to every prophet throughout history. The Quran teaches that these prophets practiced this pure submission long before the historical labels of Judaism and Christianity were created, making them part of a single, continuous spiritual lineage that concluded with the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)
