The Internet makes it easier for people to work, earn money, and move anywhere, which reduces the power of governments. As money and businesses go online, governments struggle to control borders, taxes, and information. This shift empowers individuals, especially digital nomads, and supports the idea that traditional nation state models may slowly lose influence in the long run, the same way the church lost to the nation state.
