Bitcoin’s intangibility does not make it haram.

Bitcoin’s intangibility does not make it impermissible in Sharīʿah. While critics of BTC claim that assets must be tangible to qualify as wealth, classical Islamic jurists did not require tangibility for wealth. Instead, they emphasized social recognition and storability. Therefore, Bitcoin’s lack of physical form does not disqualify it under Islamic law.
