Shaykh Umar Faruq Abd-Allah (aka Wymann-Landgraf) states that the Kaaba in Mecca shares the same shape and structure as the First Temple of Prophet Solomon (Suleiman), which housed the Ark of the Covenant. The Ark of the Covenant was built at God’s command to contain the stone tablets of the Ten Commandments, which Prophet Moses received on Mount Sinai.
