Beyond Libertarianism.

“I feel I’ve gone beyond libertarian ideals at this point, particularly after writing this book. It’s pushed me to look at libertarianism as logically sound and theoretically useful, but practically inapplicable. The psychological assumption behind libertarianism is that, in such an environment, everyone possesses a high degree of personal agency. Unfortunately, the world doesn’t work that way. We saw the extent of the masses’ agency a couple of years ago during the COVID-19 pandemic, when someone said ‘jump,’ and the response was, ‘how high?’”
