Banking & Republicanism Are Against Islam | Shaykh Abdul Hakim Murad

After colonialism, for the next 50+ years, many well-intentioned Muslims (and some not well-intentioned ones) have & continue to attempt to carve a niche within the global central bank’s fiat monetary system. In other words, they’ve built financial products on top of the riba fractional reserve system that goes against the spirit of Islamic law and its strict condemnation of usury.

The same applies to the concept of nation-states and republicanism. For example, “The Islamic Republic of Pakistan” and “The Islamic Republic of Iran” are oxymoronic when you realize republicanism was the child of Freemasons of various kinds, French revolutionaries whose primary aim in life was to push back religion and its morality into a box away from the public square.
